She is done in pen and marker 

& the background, digital.

 Took a break today from Scribbler

and sketched with a Faber-Castell Pitt pen in Sanguine

I used graphite for her eyeshadow

but the rest of color was digital

I was thinking of my daughters when they were young and suddenly this one came into being. Her face & hair are a blending of the two.

I discovered Scribbler Too & LOVE it!! For someone who has difficulty drawing due to hand tremors, this tool is a dream come true. I love the ease at which I can make lines again & will be doing more with it.

this is how it started -  a really fast sketch,
 but after i added it to the post
 i wasn't that happy with it so.......

i took out the eraser & made a couple of changes, then i added some digital color

I've signed up for the 29 Faces Art Challenge, hope I didn't sign up for more than I can handle, but i have wanted to participate in one of the faces challenges for quite a while now.   

Day 1, Sept 1
Well after picking up the pencil and drawing i realized that this will be far more difficult that i first thought.... my hands frequently, very frequently i might add, shake due to something called "essential tremor". However when faced with either withdrawing from the 29 faces challenge or continuing, i decided that i will continue &  will "embrace the imperfection"!
